Questions
Questions about this page
Who is the financial literacy programme for?
For someone who has never entered the markets, or who has heard the terms without ever settling them. Money, interest, inflation, instruments and the idea of risk are built from zero — from how an order works on the equity market to the structure of the derivatives and crypto markets.
Can you start directly with technical analysis?
For someone who already knows the markets, yes. For someone who does not know order types, settlement, price limits and circuit breakers, leverage and margin, no: technical analysis is built on top of those concepts. Financial literacy is the entry point to the other finance programmes.
Which markets are covered?
The equity market (order book, order priority, settlement, margin trading, short selling, rights and bonus issues, dividends), forex and derivatives (forwards, futures, options, leverage, margin) and the crypto market (how it is bought, security, risks). Plus the underlying concepts: the efficient market hypothesis, the time value of money and opportunity cost.
